Protowork's Video Production Process
Our video development process for full production projects begins with a customized quotation based on the specific needs of your project.
Stage 1: Set Up
We will first set up an online project management tool. Timeline, to-do lists, people involved, messages and related files will be listed clearly on the web site so you and your associates can access information, be informed and make approvals throughout the whole development process.

Stage 2: Script Development
Our professional, creative scriptwriter can work closely with you to develop an effective script from scratch. If you already have a script on hand, we can polish the existing script to make it fit the video. You will always approve final script after revisions and before production.

Stage 3: Location Scout
In order to make sure the video shooting day runs smoothly, our director and production coordinator will visit all locations to check and take photos of important details for your approval:
- Scene set up
- Overall aesthetic
- Pick the best location for interviews
- Availability of electric power
- Lighting conditions
- Other details such as parking, facilities, permission to operate electrical devices, etc.

Stage 4: Video production on site
In most cases, our whole team (director, production manager, production assistant, gaffer, camera operators and make-up artist) will all go on location. We will shoot according to script, pre-approved shot list and pre-production materials.

Stage 5: Post Production
This stage usually takes the longest time. It involves different tasks such as logo animation, video enhancement animation, video editing to script, narration recording and music scoring, depending on your projectís criteria. Upon completion of your video, you will be invited to our editing studio and review the rough cut. We will take note of any changes which need to be made prior to finalizing the video.

Stage 6: Product Delivery
Depending on your needs, Protowork is able to delivery the final product in any media format, including interactive DVD Video, video file for PowerPoint presentation use, internet streaming video with advanced flash.
