Independent Short Film Post-Production

Shell is an independent short film shot on both HD and DV format and was directed by Vancouver based Clif Prowse and Derek Lee. Three years in the making, the film will be submitted to different film festivals worldwide upon completion. During post-production, they needed colour correction for the whole movie and title sequences to be added. They found Protowork to be the one-stop-shop for these two tasks to complete their work.

We used videoscopes to match the RGB levels and fine-tuned brightness levels for the whole movie to the requirements of the director in order for him to achieve the mood and feel suitable for the story. We also used Adobe After Effect to create title sequences to the director's specifications.
