Cinematographer Demo DVD Situation: John Banovich, csc, is an award winning director, cinematographer and writer, having recently received a 2002 Telly Award and a 2001 Gallant Award. He wanted to make a DVD showcasing his vast portfolio of works including TV series, TV commercials, music videos and feature films for distribution to potential clients. Solution: We gathered all his footages in a wide range of original formats including digibeta, betaSP and DVCAM. We encoded the footage with 3:2 pull down to 30 frames per second, we authored the DVD for standard TV format. We created an interactive menu interface with url link to his web site, motion menu, sub-menus and folders containing videos and pdf documents.
