Situation: No Backing Out is the winner of BloodShots Film Festival, a 48 hour Horror filmmaking challenge as of October, 2004. It was directed by Vancouver based Clif Prowse and Derek Lee; shot by Pascal Provost and edited by Paul Mak. To view full credit list, please view the movie with the link below. Judged by the Vice President of Paramount Pictures Domestic Division, Lynn Fero and the Hitchhiker from the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, Edwin Neal, No Backing Out had won the best film award, the best death award as well as the audience award for the best film. The contest challenges 15 groups to make a 4-8 minute horror film in 48 hours by giving them a prop, murder weapon, horror sub-genre and a line of dialogue. From script writing and shooting, to editing and sound design, everything was done within 48 hours! It was crazy, but we survived and got a pretty good film out of it
