Full Production of 3.5 minutes Promotional Video

FormationSD, a Vancouver branding/advertising firm, just finished a corporate re-branding project for a local autobody chain, Automind Collision Repair. A high quality corporate video is one of the elements in their on-going branding & marketing effort for Automind Collision. Protowork was retained for the full production of a 3 minutes corporate promotional video which was to be aired on projection screens at a corporate event. Our main goal for this project was to produce an upbeat and fast-paced video to entertain an audience mostly comprised of staff and directors. The second goal was to shoot as much material as possible so extra footages can be used for other future projects such as TV commercials and a longer corporate promotional DVD's for investors.

It was a fast decision by Automind's board of directors to go ahead with the video project. Timeline was very tight and so was the budget. FormationSD gave us the script, the parameters, and we tailor-made a production program which met all pre-set goals within their budget. We worked very closely with FormationSD throughout the project to ensure our work meets the expectations of their client. The script was developed with our concepts input and FormationSD's specific requirements. We designed the overall visual and color theme for the video combining logo animations, transition animations and special effects congruent with our client's new marketing strategies. We coordinated and managed a 6-persons crew (video director, makeup artist, two camera operators, narrator and gaffer) for the shooting of various scenes and interviews on locations. Post-production services include narration, background music, full editing of animations/still photos/footages, final sound mix and DVD authoring.
